Solange Smith grew up in Mallorca with a half Dutch, half French father and half Malaysian, half Chinese mother. A lover of books, art galleries, filmogra- phy and museums Solange’s talents not only lie behind the camera and on runways, but she is also a talented artist. Solange started her modeling career to fund her love of art and has already made her mark in the fashion industry. She is currently the face of the Bulgari ‘Allegra’ Fragrance & High Jewelry Collection. Solange has also worked with fashion greats such as Chanel, Gucci, Guerlain, YSL, Vogue, L’Officiel, CR Fashion Book and Tatler to name a few. She has also walked for Dolce & Gabbana, Junk Shimada, Jour/Ne, Iceberg, Ralph and Russo, Galia Lahav, Each X Other and Agnes B. Having drawn since a child, her mother taught her that you could never make a mistake in art and that you could use it to create something new and different. Growing up as a street artist, she naturally started to experiment with graffiti. As she progressed and evolved, she moved to oil paintings. In the fall of 2022 in New York City, Solange had her first exhibition “ I Am the Bad That Made Me”, held in an old Chinatown karaoke bar. Her exhibition featured music and lighting cho- reography inspired by her parent’s rave days in the 90s and early 2000s. Solange is currently working on her next exhibition, inspired and influenced by her love of Japanese culture. She has most recently been commissioned to create paintings for commercial spaces in NYC & Paris. Solange is currently residing between Paris and New York and balancing her time between her love of creating art & her modeling career.
