Mayela Vazquez grew up in Monterrey, Mexico and relocated to New York City in 2011. Vazquez studied make-up & hair artistry in both New York City and London. She sees make-up and hair as a means of expression and a way to elevate and enhance individual beauty in unique and unexpected ways. Her editorial work has been featured in Vogue US & Mexico, Harper's Bazaar, Elle and Allure. Vazquez has collaborated with brands such as Chanel and Fendi, L’oreal, Oscar de la Renta, Laquan Smith and Jacob & Co. When she is not on set, she is facilitating master classes in both Spanish & English as a way to share her knowledge with a new generation. Vazquez continues to partner with brands such as Make Up Forever, Sisley, Bobbi Brown Latin America & USA, Chanel Latin America.

Mayela currently resides in New York City.
