Heathermary Jackson is New York-based stylist and fashion director. She began her career in London in the 90’s styling for Dazed and Confused and i-D, and later transitioned to Fashion Director of The Face magazine.
Heathermary pioneered the trend of mixing high brow and low brow fashion, with the intent of styling people to wear the fashion, not the other way around. As a freelance stylist she worked on contract for Teen Vogue and styled for top publications such as L’Uomo Vogue, Vogue Italia, Vogue US, Purple Mag, Arena Homme Plus and Numero.
Her taste and creativity have made her the sought out consultant for several brands such as Araks, Adidas, Armani, Calvin Klein, J. Lindeberg, Sephora, Steve Madden, Victoria’s Secret, and Vans.
Over the span of her career she’s had the opportunity to collaborate with iconic photographers such as Peter Lindbergh, Cass Bird, Steven Klein, Terry Richardson, Arthor Elgort, and Patrick Demarchelier, to name just a few.
Heathermary has styled the A-list of Hollywood, her New Zealand charm winning over celebrities such as Amy Winehouse, ASAP Rocky, Brad Pitt, Chloe Sevigny, Eva Mendez, Gisele Bundchen, Guinevere Van Seenus, Helena Christensen, Jared Leto, Jordan Barrett, Kendrick Lamar, Macaulay Culken, Mariah Carey, Missy Elliot, Penelope Cruz, P.Diddy, Pharrell Williams, Pink, Rachel Weisz, Sam Shepard, Selena Gomez, Spice Girls, Taylor Swift, Tobey Maguire, Uma Thurman, and Viggo Mortensen.
Today, Heathermary edits several fashion magazines and serves as the Fashion Director of Puss Puss Magazine and Fat Magazine. She also is Owner and Creative Director for Brownstone Cowboys, a vintage website that she has developed into an online and print publication. The magazine will highlight artists, creatives in fashion and music world, and delve into issues such as racial justice, the environment and politics - causes that are very close to Heathermary’s heart.
